I’ve now had a few days to enjoy this Gaiwan and it wonderful. It’s easy to use and enjoy. The brewer aperture is big enough to nose breathe those lovely aromas. It’s easy to hold when hot and has a well rounded cup too see the rich colours of your tea. The aromas drift up from the cup as you sip. This tea set invites you to saviour tastes and smells of your favourite teas. It’s a real pleasure to use and enjoy.
The photographs here do not convey the fullness of how delightful this tea pot is. It came well packaged and fast in the post. I took my time to open it up and admire this wonderful teapot. I decided a nice Oriental Beauty tea would suit its first brew. The teapot looks wonderful with the leaves unfurling in the pot. The Gaiwan brewing method is easy and the lovely tea cup holds plenty of tea. There is a satisfying roundness to the cup which makes it nice to hold. I may have to purchase another in charcoal for my Puerh tea. I can imagine a nice ripe Puerh aroma rising from this teapot too.
